2026-2027 Season
Our 2026-2027 Season presents an incredible collection of collaborations and performances with guest soloists, choral orchestral events, and the finest orchestral literature.
All EUSO Concerts are held in the Schwartz Center, Emerson Concert Hall, and all EUCO Concerts are held in the Performing Arts Studio. Both feature free admission and parking.
Friday, October 23 & Saturday, October 24, 2026, 8 PM, Emerson
The University Symphony and Chorus join forces to present Faure’s Reqiuem – Dr. Eric Nelson and Dr. Paul Bhasin, directors. The program also features the University Symphony performing Saint-Saens’ majestic Organ Symphony with organist Jack Mitchener.
Friday, November 6, 2026, 8 PM, PAS
The Emory University Chamber Orchestra performs conducted and unconducted works with a repertory spanning 500 years.
Saturday, November 21, 2026, 8 PM, Emerson
EUSO with the Emory Wind Ensemble. Atlanta-based Bent Frequency joins the orchestra for the world premiere of a new work by composer Nina Shekar. Program also features Bernstein’s “Symphonic Dances” from West Side Story.
Saturday, February 27, 2027, 8 PM, PAS
The EUCO performs conducted and unconducted works with a repertory spanning 500 years.
Thursday, March 4, 2027, 8 PM, Emerson
The EUSO presents a new commissioned work by Theodosia Roussos alongside Prokofiev’s Symphony No. 5.
Friday, April 23, 2027, 8 PM, Emerson
The EUSO season finale features 2026 concerto competition winner harpist Emma Burnsworth performing Ravel’s Introduction and Allegro, alongside Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 10.
