2024-2025 Season
Our 2024-2025 Season presents an incredible collection of collaborations and performances with guest soloists, choral orchestral events, and the finest orchestral literature.
All EUSO Concerts are held in the Schwartz Center, Emerson Concert Hall, and feature free admission and parking.
Saturday, October 26, 2024 8pm
The EUSO presents an evening of masterworks celebrated for their colorful orchestration: Copland’s Appalachian Spring and Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite. Julia Nagel, flute, will be our Concerto & Aria Competition soloist on Reinecke’s Flute Concerto.
Saturday, November 23, 2024 8pm
Prokofiev’s Classical Symphony and special works for Tango Soloists and orchestra are featured in this shared performance also featuring the EWE.
Thursday, March 6, 2025 8pm
The EUSO will perform Shostakovich’s 9th Symphony along with Strauss’s Four Last Songs with soprano Bethany Mamola.
Friday April 25 & Saturday April 26, 2025 8PM
The EUSO and University Chorus join forces to present Beethoven’s monumental 9th Symphony.
